The mortgage bank maintains a registry of the collateral for the covered bonds, in which it lists the receivables, rights and means that constitute the cover pool for the issue of covered bonds, as well as the funds that constitute the buffer for the six months of forward interest payments.

The method of maintaining the registry is regulated by:

  • The Act of 29 August 1997 on Covered Bonds and Mortgage Banks (unified test: Journal of Laws Dz. U. 2015, item 1588)
  • Recommendation K of the Financial Supervision Authority dated February 2016 on the rules for mortgage banks’ registries of cover pools for covered bonds.

The Trustee maintains continuous oversight over the cover pool.
