PKO Bank Hipoteczny has successfully completed one of the largest in its history subscription of mortgage covered bonds in Polish currency with a nominal value of PLN 0.8 billion

On February 20, 2025, PKO Bank Hipotecznyoffered to institutional investors mortgage covered bonds with a value of PLN 0.8 billion. It was the first mortgage covered bonds transaction in 2025. Previous were carried out in March, July and October and amounted to a total of PLN 2.5 billion.
- The covered bonds issue date was February 27, 2025 and the maturity date is February 27, 2029.
- The covered bonds are issued under the International Covered Bond Issuance Programme of PKO Bank Hipoteczny and will be listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
- The margin of 80 bp over WIBOR 3M was set in the bookbuilding process carried out on February 20, 2025. Sixteen investors, including a supranational institution, submitted purchase declarations for the covered bonds. The total value of the collected subscriptions amounted to over PLN 0.8 billion.
PKO Bank Polski was the arranger and dealer in this transaction, while Biuro Maklerskie PKO BP had a role of the issue agent and the legal councel was White & Case M. Studniarek i Wspólnicy.
