According to the paragraph 5.5 of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance dated 29 March 2018 on current and periodic information published by issuers of securities and on the conditions under which such information may be recognized as being equivalent to information required by the regulations of law of a state which is not a member state, the Management Board of PKO Bank Hipoteczny S.A. (“Bank”) hereby informs that on 12 December 2018, the Supervisory Board of the Bank appointed Mr Piotr Kochanek as of 1 January 2019 for the position of Vice President of the Bank’s Management Board. Furthermore, the Supervisory Board of the Bank appointed Mr Piotr Kochanek as Vice President of Management Board responsible for management of significant risks in the activities carried out by the Bank provided and on the date of granting the approval by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority referred to in Art 22b of the Banking Law.
Information about the appointed Vice President of the Management Board:
Piotr Kochanek
Piotr Kochanek is a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics of the Silesian University of Technology. He has gained his professional experience working for Bank BPH, DnB Nord Polska, Allianz Bank Polska and Nordea Bank Polska. Since 2014 he has been associated with PKO Bank Hipoteczny, where as Head of Risk Department, he was responsible, among others, for creating a comprehensive risk management system and capital adequacy of the Bank, development of a management information system in the risk area and a project for transferring receivables from PKO Bank Polski to PKO Bank Hipoteczny.
He is a top specialist in the area of measurement and analysis of financial risk in banking operations.
Mr Piotr Kochanek declared that:
- he doesn’t conduct any business competitive to the business of the Bank;
- he doesn’t participate in any business competitive in respect of the Bank as a partner in a partnership;
- he is not a member of a body of a company competing with the Bank,
- he is not a member of any other body of legal person competing with the Bank;
- he is not registered in the Register of Insolvent Debtors.
